It was one of the major talking points following the traditional Anzac Day clash – and now the match review committee have made a big decision on Daniel Tupou’s high shot on Mikaele Ravalawa.
The 30-year-old was placed on report in the Roosters 14-12 loss to the Dragons, but remained on the field despite many calling for him to be sin-binned.
Dragons coach Anthony Griffin was less than pleased after the game, while NRL CEO Andrew Abdo was of the belief that Tupou should have been binned.
The veteran winger has been hit with a grade two careless high tackle and will miss one game with an early guilty plea.
