Daniel Ricciardo has vented his frustrations over the team radio, blowing up at rogue photographers positioning themselves at a great risk in the pitlane at Monza.
In a moment of terror for the McLaren driver, Ricciardo came close to running down a photographer as he returned to his pit box during a free practice session at the Italian Grand Prix.
“These f—-ing idiots, man,” he said.

“I’m happy to hit one of them,” he continued, with tongue in cheek.
Captured on Ricciardo’s onboard camera, one photographer can be seen walking from the pit wall to the inner lane, strolling directly into the path of his MCL36 to snap the perfect shot.
A view from behind also showed several photographers having to be held back by a McLaren staff member as Riccardo veered from the fast lane.
As the cars can maintain speeds of up to 60km/h through the pitlane, its a dangerous endeavor crossing in front of one.
Ricciardo will start from a season-best fourth place for Sunday’s race after a raft of penalties elevated him up the grid.
The Western Australian was eighth on merit, before penalties to the Red Bull duo of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, as well as the Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz, elevated him to the second row, alongside teammate Lando Norris in a McLaren second-row lockout.
